    Program requirements

    Especially if you want to found a startup, a strong team effort is important. That's why we primarily support founding teams. Ideally, your team should consist of at least one co-founder from the business sector and one co-founder from the AI sector.

    If you are still working on your idea alone, we are happy to support you in finding a suitable co-founder.

    The KI-Garage is a program of the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung. We primarily support teams that reside, study, or have a permanent job in Baden-Württemberg. If you live outside of Baden-Württemberg and are looking for opportunities to get started here, we still look forward to hearing from you.

    Our program is geared towards teams that have already developed a specific AI idea, an initial MVP, or first prototypes. If you already have several paying customers and want to scale further, the AI RISE Program is better suited for you.

    Our program is only designed for startups where artificial intelligence is a main part of their product/service. Teams that only use AI for individual areas (such as marketing) are unfortunately not eligible for us. Nevertheless, we are happy to help with specific questions or refer to other startup platforms in Baden-Württemberg.
